The Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Permit (TCA 39-17-1351) is Tennessee's full fledged permit. This course consists of approximately 5-hours of classroom instruction, a written exam, a break for lunch, and a live-fire range quealification. 

Successful completion of this state safety course will provide you with the certificate needed to apply for a TN Enhanced Carry Permit. 

This is a USCCA course and is ideal for new gun owners. In this course you will learn about Developing a Personal and Home Protection Plan, Self-Defense Firearm Basics, Defensive Shooting Fundamentals, Legal Use of Force (including TN "Castle Doctrine" and "Stand Your Ground" Laws),  Violent Encounters and the Aftermath, Gear and Gadgets, and Basic and Advanced Skills. Upon completion of this course, you will have a thorough understanding of the fundamentals involved in protecting yourself and your loved ones. This course is offered as an 8 hour course, or as (up to) 7 individual units consisting of one hour each.

This is a USCCA course. This course is the same as the Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals course but is designed by women, for women. In this course you will learn about Developing a Personal and Home Protection Plan, Self-Defense Firearm Basics, Defensive Shooting Fundamentals, Legal Use of Force (including TN "Castle Doctrine" and "Stand Your Ground" Laws),  Violent Encounters and the Aftermath, Gear and Gadgets, and Basic and Advanced Skills. This is a USCCA course. You may be comfortable dealing with cuts and scrapes. You might have even been through a CPR class - But do you feel confident dealing with severe, life threatening injuries when seconds count? Serious bleeding, chest injuries, a compromised airway, spinal injuries, broken bones, and more. It may seem unrealistic that an average civilian could handle these situations, but the truth is, many of these skills are quite simple and do not require a great deal of gear to be prepared for. You don't need to become an emergency room doctor, you just need to be prepared to aid a victim, stabilizing or improving their condition until they can reach the emergency room.

Children are naturally curious absorbant sponges. How they learn about guns is up to you. It can be educational, welcoming, and devloping of a good appreciation and respect for firearms and the community surrounding them, or it can be tainted by misinformation, fear, and taboo. The way that children learn about guns will be curcial to the future of gun ownership in America. Who do you trust to teach your children and your family about guns and gun safety? Many people will choose to hide knowledge about guns from children, creating a taboo in a curious young mind. If you don't teach them properly, they will seek the information elsewhere. If you take charge, you can help them to develop a safety-focused, respectful approch to firearms. Now all you need is to know how to teach them.

Learn to develop a mindset of awareness and preventative defesnive skills. Let's face it, the world we live in today can be a dangerous place. When you can see dangerous situations in advance, and avoid them, you've won the fight without even fighting it. You will learn how to make yourself unatractive to attackers by not looking like a victim. While you may not be able to control every outcome, you will become better prepared for the world around you and how to react when you encounter undesirable situations. In this course, you will learn about different levels of awareness and preparedness, developing conditional plans, identifying potential threats and reacting appropriately.

This is a prepper's 101 course to introduce people who are interested to a lifestyle of preparedness. In this course, we will cover realistic scenarios and events to be prepared for, what realistic preparedness is, how to prepare, what you should have, skills you should learn, and the practical mindset of preparedness. We will look at a prepared finances, a prepared home, bug-out bags, and preparing your family.

This is a USCCA course. In this course, we will analyze data gathered from mass shootings that have occurred since Columbine to determine what can be learned from these tragedies, including what may or may not have effected or changed the outcome and what may realistically prevent them in the future.
